Can I download all slides of a carousel?
Yes. Paste the post link into the Photo tool and every slide appears, ready to download one by one.
Carousel posts are some of the most useful content on Instagram — step-by-step guides, before-and-after sets, photo dumps. But Instagram only lets you save the first slide easily. Here is how to download every slide in a carousel at full resolution, using a free tool and no login.
Open the carousel post in Instagram. Tap the share icon (the paper plane) and choose Copy Link. The link points to the whole post, not just the slide you are looking at.
Open the Photo tool on VideoDropper and paste the link into the box. The tool reads the post and lists every image in the carousel, in order, so you can see the full set before downloading anything.
Tap Download under any slide to save it at full resolution. You can save one image or work through the whole set. Files go to your Downloads folder or your Photos app, depending on your device.
Downloading is fine for personal use, but the photos still belong to their creator. If you want to share them, ask first and give credit. Reposting someone's carousel as your own work is not fair to the person who made it.
The steps are the same on mobile. Copy the link from the Instagram app, switch to your browser, paste it into the Photo tool and save the slides you want. On iPhone, Safari saves images to the Files app first. Open the image in Files, tap share and choose Save Image to move it into Photos. On Android, Chrome saves straight to Downloads, and your gallery usually picks the images up on its own.
A carousel link always returns the whole set, so you never need to copy a link per slide. That is the main difference from a single photo post: one link, many images. If you only want one slide, just download that one and ignore the rest. The tool lists the slides in order, so the first slide is the cover and the rest follow exactly as the creator arranged them.
